Zachary Hatch is an Enrolled Agent at Anderson & Jahde, P.C. He represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of federal and state tax matters, including audits, appeals, collections, trust fund recovery penalties, and offers in compromise. Zach brings a strategic, client-focused approach to helping taxpayers work through complex and often stressful tax issues with clarity and confidence.

With over 14 years of experience handling tax issues, Zach brings deep, practical insight to every case he handles. As an Enrolled Agent, he is federally licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in all administrative matters, including audits, collections, and appeals. He has developed significant experience in both individual and business taxation, as well as IRS practice and procedure.

Zach regularly assists clients in matters involving the IRS and state taxing authorities, and works closely with the firm’s attorneys to provide comprehensive, results-oriented representation. His work covers a broad range of issues, including unfiled tax returns, audits, penalty abatement, installment agreements, and collection defense. He is also experienced in tax return preparation, which supports his ability to guide clients through compliance and resolution strategies when needed.

Much of Zach’s work involves analyzing financial records, reconstructing incomplete data, and identifying patterns or discrepancies to support tax controversy matters. His strength lies in piecing together the financial story behind each case and developing practical, effective strategies for resolution.

He is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the Colorado Society of Enrolled Agents (CoSEA), and maintains ongoing continuing education to stay current on tax law and IRS procedures.

Outside of the office, Zach is the drummer for Wash Park Band, a 12-piece funk wedding and cover band. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
