Thomas Hodel

Tom Hodel joined Anderson & Jahde as of counsel in May 2015. He has over 40 years of experience in tax and probate litigation, including service as a trial attorney in the offices of IRS Chief Counsel. Mr. Hodel has written articles for the Colorado Lawyer regarding civil tax procedures and TEFRA partnership provisions. He also has lectured at CLE seminars and luncheons concerning civil tax cases and changes in federal tax laws.

Tom’s practice emphasizes Federal and State civil and criminal tax controversy, IRS collection alternatives, and estate and probate matters. He thoroughly enjoys the Colorado Mountains and spends much of his leisure time hiking in the summers and skiing in the winters.
